I first read about this story last year, when I lived in Montreal. Kyle MacDonald started with one red paperclip and through a series of 14 (generous) trades parlayed it into a house in Kipling, Saskatchewan. Although I might have stuck with the paperclip rather than have to move to Saskatchewan, it's a cute story getting tons of press. It reminds me of the, write poem-win a house, fad from a few years ago.
