Cynthia Barton Rabe, formerly an Innovation Strategist for Intel Corporation, has published a new book, The Innovation Killer, that introduces a new term into the innovation consulting space: zero-gravity thinkers.
These Zero-G Thinkers are able to escape the gravitational pull of both "Expert Think" and "Group Think" to generate innovative new ideas for organizations. The book has three primary sections:
- Summary of the institutional barriers preventing organizations from following through on their innovation plans
- Review of what makes zero-gravity thinkers effective within an organization
- Lessons on how an organization can turn zero-gravity principles into action.
