THE I-CUBED ECONOMY

Tom Peters points out yet another catch-phrase for the economy we are entering (are in?); The I-Cubed Economy.

Meaning INTANGIBLES, INNOVATION, and INFORMATION.

According to Wikipedia this new era is part of the Intangible Economy consisting of knowledge, collaboration, engagement and time quality assets. In a world that is changing rapidly, the gap between what we know and what we do has to close...leaders can't just know that command and control leadership doesn't work ... they actually have to DO a different kind of leadership ... NOW! We spend a lot of energy trying to capture and apply best practices ... but, in a world with so much change ... what is the shelf life of a best practice anyway?
